 Our Founder:

David Schiller began his career in public accounting, specializing in forensic accounting, tax advisory, and management consulting for Fortune 500 clients. After earning his CPA in 2002, he transitioned into investment management, joining a leading technology-focused hedge fund. There, he conducted rigorous long/short equity research and applied forensic accounting techniques to both existing holdings and prospective investments, including short positions.

He went on to serve as a senior investment analyst and portfolio manager at several of the world’s most respected hedge funds and global investment banks. Beyond asset management, Mr. Schiller has acted as a consultant and board advisor, holding executive leadership roles as CFO, SVP of Finance, and COO across diverse organizations over the past decade.

In 2025, he returned to his investment roots by founding Arcanum Capital Management, where he continues to apply his expertise in bottom‑up fundamental analysis and selective growth investing, while overseeing portfolio management with a disciplined, research‑driven approach.
